Our team of occupational, physical, and speech therapists specialize in care for infants, children, and adolescents up to age 21, to empower every child to reach their fullest potential by addressing their unique developmental needs.

Patrick Anderson, Occupational Therapist

Occupational therapist

Education: Pacific University, Doctorate of Occupational Therapy

Experience: Patrick has experience in outpatient pediatrics, inpatient neurological rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and subacute care. His professional interests include providing services to children with autism spectrum disorder and sensory processing differences. He is also passionate about providing rehabilitation services for clients experiencing neurologic injuries.

Specialized certifications: Doctoral research on utilizing the performing arts in therapy to develop and refine the social skills of clients diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Personal Interests: Patrick enjoys hiking, biking, nature photography, electronic music production, and movies.

Kelly Hensley, Occupational Therapist

Experience: Outpatient pediatrics, school-based therapy, home health, acute care, home-based mental health, inpatient rehabilitation, ergonomics/worksite evaluations/job analysis.

Personal interests: Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, son and two dogs—taking advantage of everything Western Montana has to offer. She loves attending Bobcat games, hiking, camping and soaking up as much time with her family as possible!

Hannah Burgess, Physical Therapist

  • Northern Arizona University, BS in Exercise Science (2010)

Experience: Hannah began her therapy career in a combined outpatient and acute care pediatric position in Tucson, AZ. She eventually transitioned into a level III neonatal intensive care unit where she focused on family bonding and nurturing the smallest patients. Hannah’s professional interests are in infant development and prevention through education and family empowerment.

Specialized certifications: Pediatric Certified Specialist (2018)

Personal interests: Hannah and her husband, Nathan, are the proud parents of Hazel who brings much joy to their lives. Hannah enjoys spending time with her family hiking, camping, playing with the dog, and baking.

Missy Purvis, Physical Therapist Assistant

  • Great Falls College MSU, AAS in Physical Therapist Assistant (2011)

Experience: Missy has worked with both pediatric and adult clients in a variety of areas, including inpatient and outpatient rehab, schools, skilled nursing, and home health. She has developed and instructed wellness programs for the community related to balance, core strength, flexibility and endurance. Her professional interests include providing high-quality physical therapy services for children with gross motor delays or disabilities related to genetic, neurological and orthopedic disorders. Also empowering adult populations through education and exercise to improve their deficits related to balance, neuromuscular disorders, osteoporosis, arthritis and orthopedic issues.

Personal interests: Missy enjoys hiking; fishing; camping; gardening; photography; cooking/eating; and being outdoors with her friends, family and dogs.

Jennifer Joyner, Speech-Language Pathologist

Experience: Jennifer has extensive experience with both adults and pediatrics in the outpatient hospital setting treating a variety of speech, language and swallowing deficits. Additionally, she works with inpatients and nursing facility patients. Her professional interests include pediatric articulation and language disorders, adult aphasia, memory loss, dysarthria and swallowing difficulties.

Specialized Certifications: LSVT LOUD Certification

Personal Interests: Jennifer and her husband live in Hamilton while enjoying the outdoors and traveling with their children and friends.

Amy Cooper, Speech-Language Pathologist

  • University of Wisconsin, BS in Communicative Disorders

Experience: Amy has extensive experience with adults and pediatrics in the outpatient hospital setting treating a variety of speech, language, and social communication deficits. Additionally, she has worked in schools and in psychiatrics. She has a professional interest in pediatric articulation and language disorders, pediatric feeding, motor planning issues, and autism/social communication disorders.

Personal interests: Amy lives in Hamilton with her children and enjoys running, hiking and cooking.

Catie Reed, Speech-Language Pathologist

Education: Idaho State University, MS in Speech-Language Pathology (2009); University of Northern Colorado, BS in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (2009)

Experience:Catie has specific experience and interest in both progressive and acquired neurological conditions, neurorehabilitation, dysphagia therapy, as well as articulation/phonology therapy. She has worked in acute inpatient care, elementary schools, and outpatient rehabilitation. She enjoys working collaboratively with each individual and their family in a holistic, person-centered approach to support them in achieving their goals and maximizing their quality of life.

Personal Interests:Catie was born and raised in Montana, growing up hunting, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors. She is an avid Chicago Bears and Montana Grizzley fan. She and her husband now live happily in the Bitterroot valley and continue to enjoy all of the outside recreation Montana has to offer.
