Bitterroot Health is responding to a community need to help people to navigate the Health Insurance Marketplace. We have Certified Application Counselors (CACs) who are trained and able to help you look for health coverage options through the Marketplace. This service is FREE to everyone and includes help with completing eligibility and enrollment forms.

Montana Medicaid/Healthy Montana Kids
Due to recent changes to Medicaid, some Montanans enrolled in Medicaid and/or Healthy Montana Kids (HMK), may need to take action.

Montana Health Insurance Marketplace
Most Montanans qualify for lower premiums or some financial assistance on health insurance through the Health Insurance Marketplace, in the form of tax credits to offset the monthly premium cost for coverage or discounts on the costs when medical services are received for persons with incomes between 138% and 400% of Federal Poverty Level. For example, one person may qualify for lower monthly premium costs with an estimated household income from $18,754 to $54,360.
