Marcus Daly hospital restricts visitors
The Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital Incident Management Team is restricting visitors due to the increase of COVID-19 statewide and evidence of community spread in Ravalli County, effective July 1.
“Our number one priority continues to be maintaining a safe environment for our staff and patients,” said a Hospital Incident Management Team press release on Wednesday. “We recognize that patient caregivers and family support are an essential part of the healing process; therefore certain accommodations in this policy address specific patient needs while limiting the number of people accessing our facilities.”
The team will continue to make adjustments to keep a safe environment as the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve.
The MDMH Temporary Restricted Visitor Policy is allowing one visitor/support person per patient at a time for Inpatient, Outpatient, Clinics and ER; for patients receiving outpatient maternity care, partners and children are allowed; for children receiving care, parents, guardians, or powers of attorney are allowed. There are special precautions for visitors of high-risk patients, and exceptions will be approved by the care team.
