Bitterroot Health Foundation

David has been partnering with Bitterroot Health since he returned to the valley in 2008. David has used his family business, Evans Ace, as a resource to raise awareness and funds for the hospital dating back to the MammoMan and the colors of Cancer Campaign. Inspired by the Team White for Lung Cancer. His Parents, Tom and Sandy Evans were both taken by the disease. This has inspired his involvement in helping expand the care and services available locally. David is also a board member of both the Hamilton Players and The Hamilton Downtown Foundation. He and his wife Andi are the proud Father of two, and thrives on helping the community that helped raise and shape them.

"My goal as a board member is to raise awareness of what an asset Bitterroot Health is to this community and how fortunate we are to have access to this level of care in our own backyard."

A Bitterroot native, Gina is the marketing director for Troy Collins Fine Art. She is also an active member and director for the Hamilton Players. She earned her BS in secondary education from the University of Montana Western and proceeded to manage Bitterroot Disposal for 15 years. Gina's passion for helping to provide accessible healthcare for cancer patients and survivors led her to chair the Ravalli County Relay for Life for 8 years and then to join the Bitterroot Health Foundation Board. She is married to Troy Collins and together they have seven children.

"After a personal journey with breast cancer, I knew how important accessible treatments were to Bitterroot Valley residents. I joined this amazing and dynamic board of people to assist in promoting our new Infusion Center and to help raise money to continue the tradition of award-winning healthcare in the Bitterroot Valley."

Lisa Glenn is a licensed CPA in the State of Montana and she and her husband own a Construction Company in Western Montana that serves clients throughout the Northwest. Her previous professional career includes working for large regional CPA firms in Nevada, Colorado and Montana.

She has been a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants since 1998 and a member of the Montana Society of Public Accountants since 2006.

Lisa received a Bachelor of Science in Business with an emphasis in Accounting from Montana State University.

She has served on numerous boards of charities including Children’s Museum of Durango, CO the Daly Mansion’s Preservation Trust in Hamilton, MT and the Scholarship committee for The Greater Ravalli Foundation in Hamilton, MT. Additionally, she volunteered her time as an instructor of Financial Management with the Ravalli County Economic Development Authority from 2010 thru 2019.

Dan Wolsky has lived in the Bitterroot Valley for over 40 years. He has a Business and Marketing degree from Concordia University Chicago. He is a partner in Seguro Claims. He has been on the Corvallis School Board for 20 years and has been serving as a chairman for 2 years. He’s married to Karen Wolsky who is an RN at Bitterroot Health Pain Management. Dan and Karen have two sons and one daughter. All three children were born at Bitterroot Health – Daly Hospital.

"Both of my parents had the most amazing care in the last years of their lives. They needed both cancer infusions and dialysis. It was always hard to get them to Missoula every week and to now have those services coming to BH is amazing. People do not realize how much these services will make it easier on those who need them and for their loved ones. I want to be part of that positive change to the community."

Bill Bean is the CEO of Habitat of Humanity of Ravalli County. He and his wife Lucy moved to Hamilton in 1995 and had their own business for 18 years. He served three terms on the Bitterroot Health Hospital Board, is currently the president of the Sapphire Lutheran Home Board of Directors and actively involved in many other organizations, including the Chamber of Commerce and Trout Unlimited.

"Lucy and I love Hamilton, and this is home to us. We grew up in a small town, and Hamilton is very much like it. We feel that Bitterroot Health - Daly Hospital is the most important business in Ravalli County, and we support it 100%."

Laurie Dunbar currently serves as the President of the Auxiliary. She is a valley native, born and raised in Stevensville and married to a valley native, Raymond. They have 3 children all born at Marcus Daly hospital. Their children live locally, and they have 4 grandchildren. Laurie is a graduate of MSU Bozeman, with a degree in Home Ec and Art education. She retired from teaching at Hamilton High School.

Richard Marcus has been self-employed for 52 years. In 1985 Richard began to develop his first home and business in the Bitterroot. While here, he and his family have focused on small businesses such as land development and management, retail, and he is currently the Chef/Owner of The Catered Table Restaurant in Stevensville. Rich has been involved in numerous civic and social committees, and every outdoor activity the Bitterroot has to offer.

John Bishop is the CEO of Bitterroot Health. He has a Master of Professional Accountancy from the Montana State University (Go Cats!). He's married to Halsey, and father to Brecken, Addison and Hudson. He is an avid outdoorsman who was raised in Montana and is proud to call the Bitterroot Valley home.

Jerod Smith serves as the Senior Director of the Bitterroot Health Foundation. Originally from Oklahoma, Jerod brings a strong background in community engagement and leadership to his role. An Army veteran, he is passionate about service, connection, and creating opportunities that strengthen the mission of Bitterroot Health.
