Biography
Dr. Denney went into medicine because she finds it fascinating, and finds the constant evolution of treatment an amazing challenge. She likes to treat families and people of all ages and is interested in Women's Health, geriatrics and osteopathic manipulation.
"I listen to my patients and help them get to a place of better health. I support my patients and find them the resources that will help them reach their health care goals."
Dr. Denney's philosophy of care is that wellness begins with a good foundation of internal well-being and that the mind and body are connected. She feels that the less medication used, is usually better. During a patient's first visit with her, Dr. Denny will listen, actively questioning a patient's concerns to understand their needs.
"I recommend patients be as active as they can, and get involved. Isolation and inactivity are the worst things we can do for our mental and physical health. Diet plays a role but physical activity, community involvement that can be based on whatever your interests are, is so important."
