Bitterroot Health (MDMH) is seeking candidates to fill a Project Management Office Manager position. The Project Management Office (PMO) Manager position ensures that project management standards are met, and that projects are completed within scope, schedule, and budget. Maintains project templates and tools. Reports updates on hospital-wide projects to Executive leadership. Hires, coaches, and assigns projects to the project management team.

The PMO Manager position is also accountable for day-to-day oversight of large diverse and complex projects in the areas of information technology, clinical informatics, physician practice implementations, quality improvement, and facilitates construction that align with strategic objectives and goals. Manages all aspects of projects with direct accountability to the Executive Sponsor and Senior Leadership.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Preferably in one of the following fields: Information Technology, Business Administration, Healthcare.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management. Minimum 3 years supervisory experience.
  • Licensures, Certifications, Registrations: PMP certification required.
  • Job Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Experience in implementing and managing a variety of large complex projects using a variety of methodologies, preferably waterfall, agile, and lean. Leadership and staff management skills. Prioritization abilities. Requires strong analytical, statistical skills and interpretive abilities to analyze data and make recommendations for improvements or changes. Requires the ability to understand concepts related to information system applications, networks, and interfaces, as well as medical workflows and processes. Must have strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with system users, physicians, leadership and vendors. MS Office expertise required.
